About us

Crafting unforgettable moments

At Modular Designs Limited (MODEL), we believe a gift is more than an object. It is a memory, an emotion and a story waiting to be told. Based in Moka, Mauritius, we create unique, customisable packaging and products designed to make your special occasions truly extraordinary.

MODEL was founded in 2023 by Dodi Mardemootoo, an architect who graduated from Curtin University and spent over a decade working on complex architectural projects locally and internationally. The idea began earlier, in 2015: the market for bespoke celebration products was untapped, and architectural precision could bring something new to gift and product packaging.

Today we are a dedicated team of seven full-time professionals supported by a network of talented freelancers, designing and manufacturing everything in our own studios. We are currently setting up a factory in Mauritius specialising in luxury boxes, equipped with advanced semi-automatic machinery to serve both local and international markets.
