Born from a habit of thinking outside the box.
MODEL — short for Modular Designs Ltd — was founded in 2023 by architect Dodi Mardemootoo. What began as a way to bring architectural precision and original thinking to celebration products has grown into a Mauritian design and manufacturing studio.
Today, our team creates custom packaging and personalised products for individuals, businesses and institutions, serving Mauritius and regional markets from our studio in Moka.

What can I customise?+
Depending on the product, we can tailor dimensions, structure, colours, artwork, names, messages and finishes. We’ll recommend what works best for your budget and timing.
Do you accept small orders?+
Yes. We offer low minimum order quantities on many products, alongside larger production runs for businesses and events. Minimums vary by process and design.
How long does an order take?+
Timing depends on quantity, complexity and current production capacity. Share your date when enquiring and our team will confirm a realistic turnaround before you approve.
Can you create corporate gifts and packaging?+
Absolutely. We work with businesses on product packaging, gift boxes, launch kits, event pieces and branded merchandise, from prototypes to volume production.
